When I wrote a long article about this show a few years ago, I interviewed the producer. He taped everything, the whole weekend, and then lost all the tapes later, many years ago. He has no idea where they might be, if they survived at all. There's nothing in the vault, either, I was told. This would certainly be my first choice for a resurrected recording. I keep asking around Wisconsin, and hoping.

Sparky Raizene (sp?) joined the crew at this show, and I believe it was Parrish's first tour.

The article about Sound Storm, if you're interested, is here: http://content.wisconsinhistory.org/u?/wmh,50344 More photos are here: http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/whi/feature/soundstorm/

Hey D! Long, long time...good to see ya; and good luck on that project, which I recall you posting about.

Happy Holidays to you and yours.

I've been lurking around, sometimes regularly, sometimes sporadically. Still appreciate the shared knowledge and generosity that have been a major part of this place since I started visiting back in 2006(?). Family life and day job take more of my time than they used to. But thanks for the kind words.

Cool stuff to browse - had no idea Minnie "loving you" Ripperton was in "Rotary Connection" (sounds like a business lunch program). Her daughter graduated from UCSC up the road - and went on to do okay for herself (Maya Rudolph).
